Meet Mrs. Christy
I began my teaching career in 1998 after graduating from Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on Educational Psychology. In addition to being a mother of two and teaching – both in the public and the private sector – I have also worked in emergency hospital settings as a licensed Respiratory Therapist and am fully CPR certified. When time allows, I enjoy freelance writing and have contributed to local publications such as 30a.com, beachLife magazine, and others. After a detour into the medical field, I returned to the most important, and most rewarding, work I have ever done…teaching.

Meet Claire Bear
Claire Bear is our tiniest classmate. If you know her, you love her. At a heroic six pounds, she is a hypoallergenic cavapoo who believes herself to be another little. She joins us for class a couple of times a week.
